As Melbourne is internationally recognised for its appreciation and celebration of urban art, street artist Erin Greer, was commissioned to create a set of animal illustrations that portray the diversity found in the city centre. These also help to organise the book into chapters by region.

The french fold dust jacket is a map of the venues found inside, wrapped around a secret illustrated hard case.
