Following the Victorian edition, the challenge was to give The Specialty Coffee Book New South Wales its own identity following a pre-existing structure.

Coffee quotations were created in real coffee and milk by commissioned artist Bianca Taylor-Andrews and illustrations by Melbourne-based creative Alexis Winter.
